Years ago, I ran across an article about a project called Post Secret. It intrigued me. In fact, it spawned MyDungeon Secrets.

From their website:

Post Secret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard.

Can you imagine??? I read snippets, neatly printed, scrawled, typed, or pasted words cut from magazines on the backs of little postcards. Some took great pains in decorating them, collage-kindergarten style. They were heart breaking, touching, humorous, and some downright scary.

Writing down a secret, something you don’t want to admit, let alone TELL someone, AND sending it to a place where EVERYONE can see it, is a fabulous blessing.

I wondered if the karma behind the postcards was a sort of passing on the pain, freeing oneself, or a ‘pay it forward’ phenomena. It certainly seemed like a cathartic effort for those that mailed their secrets.

Did reading them do something for me? I don’t know, maybe it fed my morbid fascination with people and their secrets, but I did feel sad, horrified, moved, and a little happy for some of them.

About 4 years ago, I got a MOST appropriate coffee cup that expressed my inner dominance. I used it so much the writing wore off, but I found a worthy replacement.

I walked a long trail (for me. My knees need . . . help.) Two miles of hilly terrain that were buffeted by beautiful crimson, gold, and brown falling leaves.

Thinking green: 10 toughest things to get rid of.

I was planning to clean out the garage,  (Note: planning IS just a start,) but as I looked at the box full of old paint cans that I don’t know what to do with, I was about to put off for another year.

Today, I ran across this timely article.   Maybe it could help you to “go green” responsibly when cleaning out your garage.

It gets better . . .

The recent suicide of Rutgers teen Tyler Clementi drew national attention to the issue. Clementi threw himself off the George Washington Bridge after his college roommate allegedly broadcast online his romantic encounter with a man.

Writer and gay activist Dan Savage spearheaded a project called “It Gets Better.”

It is a video project which features adults and teens telling bullied kids that their lives will improve.   Below is Tim Gunn’s clip.  He urges teens who need intervention to contact the  Trevor Project, a hotline for gay teens contemplating suicide.

The life you save could be your own.

In the memory of my brother who died unexpectedly a few years ago, I wanted to post one of the most important videos I’ve seen regarding what to do when someone has sudden cardiac arrest. It’s only a 6 minute video that can make an impact on your life or your loved ones. You don’t have to be certified to use this technique.

For  anyone who engages in BDSM, you are not immune to dealing with someone who has heart disease.  Some may not even know they have a cardiac problem.  Cardiac arrest can happen at any time.

Here is a brief summary of the points:

  • It is relatively easy to perform.

  • The success rate rose 10% from the traditional method.

  • There is no need for mouth to mouth, pulse checking, or of the clearing the airways.

  • This is used ONLY for adults, not children.

Pink Resurrection

Well My bitch pink twitch was recently  resurrected by a couple of instructions.  Shave, wear your pink socks, tightest pants, and go commando.  ~smile~

Those instructions grounded him.  He needed to be tethered.  I think the pink socks and the smooth face did the trick.

Below are some excerpts from his report and My responses:

Well.. first of all – I shaved. Now I am smooth shaved. Can’t have unsmooth face pressing in smooth asses, particularly Your Ass. And – at the same time it is more pink and more, fetching… as You recommended. And I did feel fresher and more into it. Thank You

@ pink twitch Being fresh and pink puts a new outlook on things, wouldn’t you say?   Oh and the pants,

The gray pants I wore – not the tightest I have but the tightest I have which will not draw too much attention lol. And long enough to mostly cover the pink socks (which still discreetly flashed. Ah the familiarity of pink socks, a comfort of sorts. Nice and soft too. And the commando and I can FEEL I am commando, at least when I am not distracted by the mundane or work.

That was very brave of you to wear tight pants out of the house and still go commando.  I wonder if you got hard at any time during the day while you were out.  Did you?  If so, you deprived me of that knowledge.  ~spank~

The Youtube clip was provided by pink twitch.  Thank you.  I enjoyed it very much.
