I always liked the color turquoise.  My favorite pieces of jewelry are turquoise drop earings and bead necklace, though I don’t wear both at the same time.

These are the days of no matchy-matchy accessories. just a touch of turquoise  shoes, scarves, jewelry, belts, etc.   will make a statement on just about any look you are wearing.

Shoeblog notes that it makes sense that the color falls in line with the resurgence of 80s inpired fashion.

This season’s top seller, Ankle Cuff d’Orsay $945. Isn’t it amazing that some things like this are ‘recession proof’ in some economic circles? I look at them as wearable art. You can go to stores, try them on, and walk away knowing what they felt like on your foot for a few moments.

John Galliano designs couture clothes as well  as shooz. He’s described as a ‘quirky quirky guy.’ LOL Aren’t they all?!!  Here’s one of his recent designs, Styledrops, $1179. I mean, would you really walk in them?!!
